Twin Falls Homeschool Community

Twin Falls Homeschool Community is a group of homeschooling parents who offer support and resources specifically tailored for families residing in Twin Falls and the neighboring areas of the Magic Valley. We aim to extend valuable information, fun, and goodwill to fellow homeschoolers, as well as those contemplating embarking on this journey. We’re not a formal organization or LLC—just a group of parents supporting each other.

Our focus is on privately funded, independent homeschooling; however, we welcome those who use all forms of home education to utilize and benefit from our resources. 

Because we are all Americans, we welcome families of all faiths and backgrounds—secular, religious, and everything in between. Our country is made up of many religious beliefs and cultures, living side by side under the umbrella of freedom, and our group reflects that.

Our Purpose

I am honored to serve as an admin for the Twin Falls Homeschool Community Facebook group, alongside founding member Kathryn Bowyer.

Grounded in common sense, we provide a supportive space where homeschoolers can connect, socialize, volunteer, and seek advice.

Our primary goal is to connect homeschoolers, with a special focus on those pursuing independent, unfunded homeschooling.

Our History

Founded in 2018 by two local homeschooling moms, Twin Falls Homeschool Community was created to offer a space for homeschoolers to connect, share advice, plan meetups, and build lasting relationships. 

Today, it stands as the largest Facebook-based homeschool support group in southern Idaho, continuing to grow steadily each year as more families find their place within this community.
