My name is Jennifer and I'm a homeschool mom with several years of experience. I co-lead a local Facebook-based support group, Twin Falls Homeschool Community, and also livestream on topics related to or supportive of homeschooling. My YouTube channel is @IdahoHomeschoolersLive - come join!
Twin Falls Homeschool Community is a group of homeschooling parents who offer support and resources specifically tailored for families residing in Twin Falls and the neighboring areas of the Magic Valley. We aim to extend valuable information, fun, and goodwill to fellow homeschoolers, as well as those contemplating embarking on this journey. We’re not a formal organization or LLC—just a group of parents supporting each other.
Our focus is on privately funded, independent homeschooling; however, families using any form of home education are invited to make use of our resources. We welcome all homeschooling families—secular, religious, and those who are in between. We are all Idahoans living under the umbrella of freedom, united by a commitment to home education.
Our Purpose
I am honored to serve as an admin for the Twin Falls Homeschool Community Facebook group, alongside founding member Kathryn Bowyer.
Grounded in common sense, we provide a supportive space where homeschoolers can connect, socialize, volunteer, and seek advice.
Our primary goal is to connect homeschoolers, with a special focus on those pursuing independent, unfunded homeschooling.
Our History
Founded in 2018 by two local homeschooling moms, Twin Falls Homeschool Community was created to offer a Christ-centered space for homeschoolers to connect, share advice, plan meetups, and build lasting relationships.
Today, it stands as the largest Facebook-based homeschool support group in southern Idaho, continuing to grow steadily each year as more families find their place within this community.
